I think you need to do whatever makes you the most comfortable. If this doctor did not make you comfortable, then I would not hesitate to ask to see another. Don't worry about hurting any ones's feelings or anything like that. Your concern is YOU and getting YOU pregnant.

Agreed again! Remember, they are the ones getting paid and if you are not 100% comfortable, then you should do something about it. I know it's awkward, but in the end, the goal is you getting pregnant!! good luck.

Re: is it really bad to:
I wouldn't feel bad.. but remember that at NSUH at some point you have to see all the doctors.. that is what they said to me.. so if you feel comfortable seeing the one you didn't like again, than I would go for it.

Re: is it really bad to:
I did it already at LI IVF. It is still making me scared because I'm so concerned about having a treatment with the other doctor, since I switched. I talked to one of the nurses about it and she said "Oh, please. People switch all the time. He will just be happy that you stayed with the practice and didn't go to one of his competitors." That made me feel much better.
HTH!

Sometimes the doctors go on vacation (or have emergency surgeries) and with timed fertility treatments, you go in when your body tells you to. I have seen 4 out of the 5 docs at NSUH for IUIs over the past few months. Ultimately, you have to do whats right for you

This happened to me as well, I saw one doctor as NSUH that I did not like at all. What I did was tell my primary doctor that I was not happy with his attitude towards me at all. From that point on she made sure that I saw mostly her.
I saw Dr. Chu, she was very nice!
