Is it possible

for a a family of four (young children) to go somewhere warm Jan. to April all inclusive for no more then $3,000? If so, where? TIA

It will be cheaper the end of March - April.

Jan -Feb is high season and the airfare is a lot higher.

That is a pretty tight budget. We just booked a trip for that much but it is just me and DH.

CHeck out Mexico, Dominican Republic, and Jamaica - the other islands will probably be more.

You could probably do a cruise for that much - and would just have to add on activities/drinks,etc.

I Would suggest Punta cana, and also Riviera maya, that runs a little cheaper then Cancun.

looking for an all inclusive may be tough...but what about a timeshare in south florida or texas. having a kitchen will cut down on expenses (its cheap to make breakfasts at home...and then at least you can warm up any leftovers you get from eating out).

Yes! I think you definitely can!! I haven’t spent more than $500-$700 pp on a vacation in the last 3 years! And we’ve gone to great places! Freedom of the Seas cruise; St. Lucia; St. Maarteen; South beach; Fort Lauderdale. It takes time; and a lot of research; but you can definitely find great prices!! I usually come up with a handful of possible destinations. Then I search for flights on various dates to find the best fares for each. Then I narrow down where I really want to go! Once you know the airfare is low for your destination you can look for packages directly through the airlines for hotel stays.

This hasn’t failed me yet! Going to Spain in March on a great deal! And probably to New Orleans next fall for great prices!!

Most destinations i book for $500 will only be about $250-$300 more if you do all inclusive. And the rates for the small kids should either be free or a fraction of the adult price (hopefully).

You can definitely to Mexico or the Caribbean at that price point.
