Is it possible...
To only look at one house and fall in love with it so much that you don't want to look at any more???
DH and I went and looked at a house today and want to buy it right now!!!

Re: Is it possible...
yes, but you should look at others as a learning experience. you'll get a better sense of what you're getting for your money, if the house is priced right, what condition it's really in...
it never hurts to make an offer! good luck!

If this is the first house you've looked at...look at others. We fell in love with the first few houses that we looked at and then realized we were more falling in love with the whole house idea as opposed to the individual homes.

There is one rule in investing in a house.
This is a "financial" transaction... not a "romantic" transaction.
Stay level headed, look at other options and choose not by emotion but by a financial aspect.

Yes, but go back and look at it again before you place an offer. I fell in love with houses very easily and was starry eyed and not able to see the cons until I went back to see them again.

I think you can know right away if it's the perfect house for you but I would maybe drive around and go to other open houses just to compare. But if you love it that much then go for it! Anything is possible!

Suze Orman always says this. Of course you should love a house but remember to keep level headed. Buying a house can be emotional, frustrating and dissapointing. Just to level expectations; someone could out bid you (only go so far no matter what) or the inspection could show up with many unexpected expenses. I dont want to be a buzz kill but it will help you through the process to be cautious. I would hate for you to get taken advantage of ... Good luck.
