Is it ok to take diflucan while nursing
I have had thrush for about eight weeks. I have taken two topical creams. Niether of which have cleared up the thrush. I have also taken vitamin c and acidophollis pills. My son is also being treated with nystatin. The last time I went to the gyno, I was told that I most likely needed diflucan but would have to stop nursing. So I have held off because I wanted to try and clear it up with natural remedies. Unfortunately nothing has worked. I called my gyno for a prescription because I cannot take this any longer. I just wanted to hear others experiences because I thought I read somewhere that you can take diflucan and nurse. Thank you.

I didn't have to but the LC that I went to (she has a LC group) always gave that as a recommendation for thrush.
Hope you feel better soon!
