Is it normal.....

I am 7w2d. My first doctors appointment is next week Thursday. I really do not have any morning sickness. The only symptoms I have is feeling very tired and sore boobs. At 4w I had some sharp pains. I have had no cramping or any bleeding. I sometimes don't even think I am pregnant. I am afraid that my doctor will tell me something is wrong - is that normal? My DH thinks I am nuts - I just need so reassurance that I am not the only one who has thought this........

Re: Is it normal.....

I've had virtually no symptoms up to this week (I am 33 weeks). I threw up a few times here and there, but I think that mostly due to my extremely sensitive gag reflex.

Its ok to not have any symptoms- you are very lucky! There have been so many times that I've actually had to remind myself that I am pregnant! Enjoy it! Chat Icon

Re: Is it normal.....

It is totally normal to worry. I am 12 weeks and have had 3 sonos and still worry that something may be wrong. I think it is just part of being pregnant. I am sure that everything is fine for you!

Re: Is it normal.....

totally normal...all I had was some slight AF cramping and sore boobs. No m/s. The tiredness began at 8 weeks and lasted to 11 weeks.

Re: Is it normal.....

Sounds normal to me. I had symptoms like yours until around 8 weeks. Then, the nausea and food aversions started. That only lasted until week 14 or so though.

It is hard in the beginning to feel secure though. I remember worrying about miscarrying and running to the bathroom anytime I felt moisture down there. Most likely things are fine though, and as time passes, you will feel more secure whether you have symptoms or not. Some women never develop them at all.

Re: Is it normal.....

definitely normal! my only early symptoms were insomnia, sore boobs, and massive tiredness in the middle of the day.

Re: Is it normal.....

I spend too much time between appointments worrying that something is wrong - almost to the point where I'm not taking the time to enjoy the experience of being pregnant. I am hoping that once I can feel the baby move I will be more relaxed.

Thank you for posting this thread.....I am having the same problems. I have a Dr's appointment on Tuesday to figure out how far along I am...I think I'm 4 weeks and I'm scared. I even checked my temp. this morning to make sure its still above the cover line.

Same Here....I didn't start "feeling pregnant" until the third trimester...and even then it was nothing bad...

Consider yourself lucky!

I was in the same boat as you... I thought that there was something wrong because I didnt get any m/s or any other symptom... They only way that I actually beleived that I was preg was the fact that I would get the sonos and my stomach was getting bigger. so not to worry it is totally normal...

Re: Is it normal.....

I'll be 12 weeks on Monday and never had any morning sickness or nausea. I have felt great except for being really tired, having sore boobs, and now I am just feeling fat. Be grateful that you aren't sick.....the more people I talk to, the more I realize that alot of people don't get sick. Maybe you're one of the lucky ones!Chat Icon
