either way...i think that there is the good and bad....for eveyone! Sometimes we just tend to focus more on the bad....But if people would stop being sooo caught up in saddness...they would realize there is a lot of be positive about...
Although my aunt isn't doing well right now....Doctors say she has a really good chance of beating her cancer....so i am picking the positive!

unfortunately there's always going to be news thats depressing.
but you should always look at the positive things as well, and feed off of that.

i can see from reading your avatar title, you're afraid to fly. 
my best friend used to be soooooo TERRIFIED to fly; one time, we were going to cancun, she SQUEEZED my hand and KEPT HER HEAD IN HER LAP during the ENTIRE FLIGHT,!!

ironically, the Toronto plane crash was twenty years to the day of THIS CRASH!!!

Yes.....thats why I avoid watching the news. I know bad things happen whether I watch it or not but sometimes its too depressing for me to handle.
