Is it bad that Im terrified...
that my baby is a boy... I cant stop being scared!!! I have a dd and was a wreck with her umbilical cord.. many times it got stuck to the onesie t's and the loose threads got wrapped around it.. causing it to bleed and come off in pieces. Had to have cordirized 2 times.
I cant stop thinking if I was a wreck with that.. how am I going to be with his umbilical cord and his little man parts being circumsized. Cant stop thinking.. what if they take away too much skin or not enough skin, what if it gets infected .. this can effect his entire life in the future..  I would love a son but Im ABSOLUTELY TERRIFIED!!!
Sorry this has been on my mind since BFP.. and I cant shake it.

I think everyone is terrified of something when it comes to parenthood and newborns!! Just the way that you did fine with DD and everything worked out, the same will happen with this one- boy or girl!!

trust me when i say that the circumcision is NOTHING to be worried about!! it won't get "caught" on anything, honestly. the doctor will show you how to take care of it - it is so easy! all you have to do is put vaseline on a little piece of gauze and put that between his penis and the diaper (you point it down and lay the gauze on top before closing the diaper). my DS's penis healed a LOT quicker than his umbilical cord!
oh and my DS's umbilical cord stump bled a LOT while it was healing. i thought i was doing something wrong! but he is totally fine now.

Don't worry about a thing. All you have to do is pile on the vaseline to a gauze pad and stick it over his peesh in the diaper. Within 5 days, you're done...regular diaper changes from then on.
Piece of cake!

5 days? thats not bad........
i LOVE that  is on the way.... i told dh i didnt know how well id handle this part of it, and he said not to worry that he'd help me alot.

don't even worry about that, its nothing really. All you have to do is glob on some vaseline for the first few days and thats it. Piece of cake!

Thanks Ladies!!! Im just soo nervous that something will happen and I will ruin his love life in the future.. 
I read an article in parenting magazine the other day about baby boys and kinda made me super nervous.
