Is goin to the Dentist safe???
My temp cap fell off and i was wondering if its safe to go to the dentist, I know x-rays are not done when pregnant, what about novicane?

yes it is fine to go to the dentist... i have been there a few times...(novacaine too) we must keep our teeth healthy..studies show that unhealthy gums/teeth can cause premature labor. I get cleanings every 3-4 months.

Absolutely. Its actually very important. You can develop pregnancy gingivitis.
I just went last week for a cleaning...everything looks great. So happy because my gums were starting to bleed while I brushed. My SIL has pregnancy gingivitis...not fun.

My dentist wanted to do x-rays on me but said she needed my OB's okay first. So it's not completely out of the question... just talk to your OB before you do anything.
