Do you need a lot? I get my butter at Costco because I think it ends up being around $2.49 per pound. I do a lot of baking, so I need a lot and refuse to pay over $4.00 per pound! And I also find that the butter that's on sale at the supermarkets is always the salted butter and I need unsalted for baking.

I get butter at Costco/BJs also. You can put the extras in the freezer.

I get it at Costco too and just freeze a couple of boxes.

Pathmark usually has a good price for butter. Sometimes you can get it for 1.99/pound. Then Costco, but Costco's prices have gone up.

Really? Target sells the 4 sticks for only 79 cents? That is insane, especially since they usually sell for over $4.00 everywhere else!!! Is it salted or unsalted?
