Is anyone getting meals ready...
so that you don't have to do all that much cooking in the weeks after the baby is born?
I've been thinking about this, but haven't had much motivation to do it.
I saw on Pinterest that some people get everything ready for the crockpot, then put it in freezer bags and when you are ready to cook it you just thaw for 30 minutes and then dump it in, cook for 4-8 hrs depending on if you cook on high or low.
THIS I am thinking of doing...maybe going out this weekend and putting the baggies together for some beef stew, chicken/brownrice/kale soup, turkey white bean chilis, beef and lentil stew --- so that we have at least a few homemade, healthy meals when I get out of the hospital.
Has anyone done any pre-cooking or pre-prep work for when they have the baby?

I thought about this but, DH doesn't like the idea of reheating frozen meals! LOL Better for me bc now he is going to cook.
I'm due in May so its the perfect time to start the BBQ so we plan on grilling alot outside.

We stocked up the freezer this weekend with some Trader Joe yummies and the moms at my mommy and me at church are doing a meal train for me for after the baby comes.

ill be stocking the fridge/freezer with easy pre stuffed meats and meat loaf and other easy to make things from fairway

I keep saying Im going to do this but havent yet...I still have 6 weeks to go but I have some ideas to freeze
baked ziti
chicken pot pie
sauce & meat balls
but I would like to try some crock pot stuff too
