Is anyone else getting bombed by....
ACORNS!!!
Holy Good Lord!
I currently feel like I'm under attack!
For the past couple of weeks it's been insane, but with the wind blowing today....I find myself ducking INSIDE the house!
Is anyone else surrounded by trees getting their houses pelted?!
This is similar to what our yard, driveway...you name it looks like:

Getting pelted here too. My house backs up to a forest, plus my front and side yards have about 30+ trees. My lawn looks like that picture.

Yes! We have 3 huge ones directly over our house. All night I hear sounds of them pinging down onto the roof. We started getting them a month ago. This is our 5th Fall in our house and last year was the first time we had wall-to-wall acorns in our yard. I guess this year is going to be the same.

Funny story my parents have an Oak Tree over their driveway. Last week the neighbor called the cops at 5am to report a burgular breaking into my father's work van. The cops were knocking at their door with the neighbor. Turns out the prowlers were acorns bouncing off the van. But it was so noisy the neighbor thought someone was smashing my dad's van with a hammer

yessssss! i was telling DH that i feel like the squirrels are throwing them at us now! they are coming down really hard!!!! i'm scared the acorns are gonna start leaving dents on the cars!!!

Yes its so weird. We have been here for 3 years and never had them fall. this year my driveway is covered

I just bagged 6 bags of acorns...
Our front yard is sloped, so it was a lot like walking on marbles!  I just wanted to give DH a head start for when he mows the lawn on Monday.
