My DH!!! I am so proud of him. We finished getting his cold gear yesterday, and I think he's ready. I can't wait to find out how he did.

I did! It was my first 5k, plus I am 13 weeks preggo. I just logged onto Flrrt.com for my official time - what is the difference between the "net" and the "gun"??
My pace was 15:05, not great, but I think too not bad for a first timer! I am hoping to improve as the weeks go on!

I got out there and it was cold - my muscles had a hard time warming up! glad it's done...hope next week is warmer.
Karen - gun time is from when the "gun" went off (when the first people start) and net is your actual time - from when you step on the starting mat until you step on the finish map.

Not me. I was going to Erica when you told me about it and I just wimped out. I hate running outside in teh cold. Last time I did I got such bad windburn on my chin!
