Is anybody else being affected by everything going on with mortgage companies?
It's very scary. Do you think it's going to really affect the price of houses. I'm afraid we're going to buy this house and it's not going to be worth what we're paying for it.

EVERYTHING affects house prices. Even the price of tea in China, to some minuscule degree. As long as you aren't flipping the house, and plan to stay in there for several years, the price will always go up. If you look at any chart of home prices, you'll see occasional dips in prices, but the overall trend is always up.
