Is a sinus infection contagious???
I have a co-worker who does not believe in taking medicine, etc.... She wants to come in sick in the office because she thinks it makes her better employee. Whatever! I hate people who come in sick in the office to infect everybody else.
At about 8 months PG... I just don't want anyone sick around me.
I don't think a sinus infection is contagious (even with LOTS of caughing!!) but still need to ask. Iis it???

A sinus infection itself is NOT contagious. Sometimes a infection sets in "after" having an initial illness such as a cold or the flu exct (which is contageous.

I used to have a lot of sinus problems before I had sinus surgery my ENT told me that it depends on whether it is viral or bacteria.
If she is getting it from allergy problems she is probably not contagious. I would play it safe and just stay away from her and wash your hands more often anyway.

Ugh, i have a coworker like that. When I first found out I was pg, she was in the office telling everyone how contagious she was. Well stay home or stay in your freakin office!!! It's so inconsiderate!

OMG. I have one of those!!!!!! and she doesnt go to the doctor ever!!!! Her excuse is that its just a cold. I tell her to stay away from me b/c if I get sick I will kill her... she coughs on everything etc.... she has no consideration for anyone in this office.

It depends on if is viral or bacterial. Carry a lot of Lysol & spray it constantly....even if it offends your co-worker. I hate when people come in sick. I understand about not taking any meds, since I do not either, but I keep my sick a$$ home!

We have 2 people who do this constantly. I have never seen people get sick every two weeks like these two. Then, they are not even attempting to stay away from everyone  Makes me nervous.
