I'd go!
I love taking DD places at this age... she's almost 10 months now and has been to Disney twice already (at 6 months and 9 months) and loved it.

I have never been there, but I am taking my DD when she will be almost 9 months old.

I love taking DS to places. However, I waited to take DS to those types of places until he was walking.
When the child is under 12m old, I think it is ok to still go places where adults go and not necessarily go to places that are geared towards children and pricey.
People have been telling me that even DS is too young for DW and Sesame Place and he is 15m old. I still plan to go!

Yes, I think it's too young IMO. He can obviously have a meal with the characters - that's fun, but he probably can't go on any rides.
We went when Ryan was 17 months. He enjoyed it, and LOVED the Elmo breakfast, but only did a few rides and would have enjoyed it more closer to age 2.

We took DD at 18 months and we should've waited. We hardly did anything but splash in some water, see a show, see a couple characters and tried a couple rides which she was not a fan of at that age. $100+ for DH and I wasn't worth it at that age.

I spoke w/ a few friends that have recently been and they all said to wait until a year and a half. We wanted to go this summer, but I think DD will be too young for it

We've taken DS to Disney and Sesame....the first trip to Disney was at four months! Precious moments for all of us...I wouldn't wait. Babies love theme parks....the sights, sounds...it is so stimulating. Go this summer....it will be a different experience than you will have next summer, Time flies and before you know it they are too old for Sesame Place.
