IRS scam alert

My sister and mother both received calls from someone claiming to be from the IRS stating that they owed the government money. Luckily, they did not fall for this scam, but some people I know did and are now out thousands of dollars. Please tell your loved ones that the government will never contact you by phone and to never give out personal information over the phone. Another variation of this scam will be your local utility company stating that you have a past due balance and to pay up or your electricity will be shut off.

Hopefully people will start to learn that if anyone calls (agency, business, anyone) saying that you have to pay or else, and send the money fed ex that it's a scam.
