Irritability in these last few weeks?

I know this has been posted before, but my irritability has been REALLY bad lately. I get so upset at the smallest things. Maybe it's because I'm stuck at home and I'm literally just waiting for Madison's arrival, but the smallest things upset me....

I posted on the Parents board about finding a children's photographer I wanted to use for newborn pictures. Well, she wanted $200 up front and I felt uncomfortable with that since I literally found her over Google and have never spoken with anyone who has actually used her...I told her I wanted to discuss further and she literally told me "can't change my policy...good luck in finding another photographer".

While I'm glad I found out her attitude sucks BEFORE I sent her any money, I just can't help but feel totally DEFEATED and exhausted over this...it makes no sense...I keep telling myself that it doesn't matter, but I keep going back to it....why am I being so irrational right now and so cranky??

UGH!!! Pregnancy hormones suck! Sorry all...just really need to get this stuff off my chest...Chat Icon

Yeah - it's like I have ZERO patience...and I don't even care who sees the bitchy side of me, I've just HAD it.

Running out of patience? That woman is on crack if she thinks "her policy" is typical. You have every right to be pi55ed.

The waiting game blows- that's for sure. I just went outside and my neighbor (who I adore by the way) yelled to me "Ain't you birthed that baby YET?!" I gave him the finger and walked in the house.

I think the photographer's policy is the problem, not you.

Her policy sounds "fishy".

Re: Irritability in these last few weeks?

My SIL actually flipped out on my mom in the weeks before labor. And she did it in a restaurant, which got really quiet. It was so bad that she stormed out and refused to see them the rest of the trip. (My parents were visiting them in FL) Needless to say, they didn't speak for a while after the baby was born. (The baby was born in January and they still haven't seen their grandchild.) I'm afraid of what my hormones will do as I get closer.

Re: Irritability in these last few weeks?

My mood changes hour by hour. DH had a cool dinner invite last night @ Morton's- (to eat with the father of his friend; the dad was in town to speak to the World Bank, he's some big wig) and I didn't go, and I love Morton's! My mojo just changes hour by hour...one hour I'm happy, the next I'm uncomfortable, the next I feel sick, the next ok, the next tired...I never know. I can't wait until this baby is in my arms and I can start on the path back to normal.
