Irene is really messing things up for me

I am due to go into the city Monday morning for my u/s to figure out what is going on with my wacky beta numbers. I told DH that I WILL get there lol. His reply...... you can get there, but if they have no power your not seeing anything" UGGGGG


How is everyone else doing.....are you prepared? I went to the store and stocked up, but couldn't help laughing. Why is it that milk, eggs and cheese are gone? What are you doing with those when the power goes?out

I dreaded going to the store last night because I knew everyone would be in a crazy panic like it is the end of the world. I kid you not when I say there were 10 loves of bread left. Insanity! I said to DH this morning, I am so glad my IUI's were LAST weekend. I do have to go in for b/w Sat, but in the early morn and it shouldn't be a problem.

Same here. Monday morning is supposed to be D-Day for me. Heartbeat or no. I don't know how I'll wait even longer if they can't do it Monday.
