iphone question

I upgraded to a an i phone /smartphone ...never had a smartphone before and now need to decide about insurance. Options: $200.00 covers everything and get $175.00 back at end of 2 year contract if i do not put in a claim OR Applecare : $99.00 covers everything except if it is lost or stolen.

WWYD? I have two small kids under the age of 5 and I am a SAHM.

Re: iphone question

I didn't realize they have options! I would definitely do it if it covers cracked screens. Without a really good cover, the screen cracks very easily, and recently cost me $80 to fix ( not at an Apple store). Also, my 1 year old takes the phone whenever he has the chance, and I constantly worry about him breaking it.

I've had a good case. If lost, I'd eat the cost!

Get an Otterbox and skip the insurance. My DD has thrown my phone so many times and the Otterbox really protects it. And they have a lifetime warranty on them so they'll replace the case for free if needed.
