iphone and facebook users...
How do I get that little red circle with the number of notifications I have to stop popping up on my Facebook icon on my iphone? Is there a way to stop that? I tried changing notification settings, but nothing is working.

I think both... new to the iphone so not sure. I went into settings then facebook and played around in there. Any tips?
ETA: I still want notifications of messages, comments, etc to my email but not on the little app on my phone.

i think you need to change this on facebook its self, not in the app or on the phone.

You have to change the notifications on th iphone off "push"... that way you have to manually go in and check it it wont push notifications
