Invitation wording - please help
I don't want a typical shower, so DH and I are planning on having our family and friends over (both men and women) our house for a baby celebration. We haven't had everyone over at once yet, so this is the perfect excuse. The nursery will also be done, and we are excited to show it off. We'll have catered food and just want to have a good time with everyone.
People have also been asking where we are registered.
How do I word the invitation? And how do I include registry information without it sounding tacky?

Usually where you're registered will provide you with little cards that has your registry info on it. Just insert those in with the invites.

I was planning on sending out invites through e-mail. It's very informal. Should I send paper ones instead?

Yes, I'm doing an evite. Here's what I came up with. What do you think?
Oh, baby! Please join us for a celebration in honor of Baby XXXXXX (our last name) Saturday, January 11, 2014 3:00 PM Mine and DH's House 123 ABC Street XXXX, NY rsvp: [email protected]
Baby XXXXXX is registered at Babies R Us
