Introduction
Hi Ladies, I mostly lurked on the TTC and then the IF board. Guess it's about time I actually join in!
Me- 36: a 16 year old DS from previous relationship. Married to DH 4 years. No endo (so I've been told) but severe pelvic adhesions from c-section and 2 cyst removal surgeries. Tubes and ovaries are all adhered together so we have been given very low chance of conceiving naturally.
FSH- 4.3
AMH- 3.3
All other tests, including immunology are normal
DH: 40- normal SA
Background: We started "not preventing" in Jan of 2010 on an off with no luck. Started officially trying in October of 2010 and realized my cycles were irregular by June 2011. Thought it might be PCOS so I saw Dr. B from July 2011 and scheduled to start timed intercourse with Femara in Nov 2011 when the sono showed a large cyst. All on hold for lap to remove cyst. While performing lap my OB found all the scar tissue and adhesions.
Had consults with 3 REs, all of which said IVF was our only option because fo the adhesions. Finally decided on RMA of NY. BC pills ofr 21 days- last pill this past Thurs 8/16. Yesterday was CD1. Went in for bloodwork and sono this AM and I start my injectibles for my our first IVF cycle today!!!
