Introduction & Question

Hi Everyone:

I guess I should first introduce myself and then ask a question

I was an occational poster on the TTC board so some may recognize me. Lately, I have been lerking at the pregnancy board and have yet to post. I'm 6w2day pregnant and do not have my first appointment until 5/5 which I am impatiently waiting Unfortunately, me and DH has a m/c back in Dec 2006 and I'm SO paranoid that I'm going to have another m/c. I know that you can not control what's going to happen but I'm freaking out.

This may be completely normal but I still want to ask. My stomach has been acting weird the last couple of days. I'm having very mild cramps that don't even feel like cramps almost like I have an upset stomach. My stomach has been talking to me all day...almost as if bubbles and floating around in my stomach. I'm so paranoid that I'm going to have another m/c. Everytime I go to the bathroom I'm just waiting to start bleeding.

Is everything that's happening in my stomach normal or should I be worried?

welcome!!

i had cramping till i was almost 13 weeks (and some days even after that). my stomach also got upset in the beginning, i wouldn't worry about that.

many congrats and best wishes for a happy and healthy 9 months!!

Congratulations and welcome!

Your belly is going to cramp and bloat and make weird noises for the next few weeks, so don't worry, as long as there is no red bleeding.

first off congrats and the best of luck to you!

i can only speak for myself in saying that when i was around the 6 week mark, i did have some mild cramping which lasted for a few weeks. it also felt like an upset stomach. did you speak to your doctor though? they are aware you had a m/c before? if you are that concerned, see if they would see you before 5/5! Again, congrats!!!

Yes, my doctors office does know that I m/c before. But I haven't called them yet because I don't want to bother them with every little ache I get. I know I'm definitely over analyzing things but I'm so nervous because of our first m/c
