Introducing Yogurt
My ped said to introduce yogurt to DD at lunchtime. I bought YoBaby today and she ate about half of the container. Are you supposed to give yogurt every day? If they only eat half, can you refrigerate the rest for the next day? I normally wouldn't save an open yogurt...but wanted to see what you all have done.

Re: Introducing Yogurt
The few times I tried it I emptied half into another container to save for the next time. We never got that far...i've tried plain...apple and blueberry and he doesn't like them.

Re: Introducing Yogurt
What do you give him for lunch? This whole thing is so confusing-trying to make sure they eat enough!!!

Re: Introducing Yogurt
I've given half and saved for the next day. It was really just in the beginning and then she began to eat all or most of it. I do a yogurt and veggie for lunch.

Re: Introducing Yogurt
You can save the other half for a few days. Just think of those big yogurts (32oz.)...no one eats those in one sitting and they stay good for a good few days.
If your DC was good with the yogurt today, I would give the other half tomorrow. It's not something that you need to do every single day but you can if you want.
ETA: I would put the left over yogurt in a sealed tupperware or container though.

Re: Introducing Yogurt
If and when he does decide to eat lunch I usually do cereal and fruit.
