Interview thank you - letter or email?
I went on an interview today for an attorney position at a city agency. I am sending out a thank you for the interview tomorrow - should I send a short letter, or an email? One of my interviewers gave me her card and made a point of writing down the more executive interviewer's email address... is it okay to write an email (which would reach them faster) versus a letter? I don't want either to get lost in the shuffle. I'm not sure what people do more often - or is an acknowledgment and thanks enough in either form?

I usually go with email.
Like you said, it gets their faster if they're making an immediate decision. In a pinch, if I didn't have an email address I would fed ex a letter.
ETA - Good luck!

Thanks so much, I was afraid it wouldn't be formal enough but who knows when it would get to them by letter. Thanks

I agree with pp about email. A letter might get never get past a receptionist's desk. GL!
