 I'm having my DS next week and I've been reading up on Bf as much as possible. I BFd my Dd and it was the best decision I ever made. Hoping things go smoothly this time around too. Thanks for sharing!

So weird that it says that less than 1% of mothers actually BF their LOs passed 6 months of age... Does that stat sound low to any of you? Or am I reading that wrong?

I don't think the rate is very high at all, but I would think it's a little more than 1%. I followed the link for that fact and it was an article about a study on bfing rates in the UK in 2010.

That does sound really low. I thought I read somewhere that 30% of moms who BF actually continue past 6 months. Maybe they mean only 1% of all mothers BF after 6 months...so that would included moms who BF and FF?
