Interaction with both sides - BM/SM?
DS's SM invited me to watch him in a parade on their weekend. This weekend she asked if we wanted to do an easter egg hunt on my weekend - we did.
Does anyone else "mix" families or is it kept separate?
I like the fact that DS gets to do the things on the other weekend. And I'm glad she asked me and we get along.

We go through phases. Some months we are invited to events and to share in their lives and other months she stops taking her meds.

SD's BM is always extra nice to me. We do many holidays together. I'd rather spend time with my DH's ex wife and family than his own family. We have a nice relationship. Makes things a lot easier.

We keep things totally separate. On the rare occasions when we all attend a school function or Little League game, etc., it is very awkward and uncomfortable. I sometimes wish that we did interact with both sides. It would be more pleasant.
