Insurance question
This might be a weird question...but
How do you add your new baby to your insurance?
Is it as easy as calling once the baby is born?
Is there paperwork?

If I remember correctly the baby would be automatically covered under the mother's insurance for the first couple of days. We wanted DS to go on DH's health insurance so we had to fill out some paperwork. And once DS got his SS# we had to forward the info. Contact your health insurance provider because their procedure could be differernt.

When I had Seamus he was automatically covered under DH (our insurance is through his job) Once he was born DH just called and they added him. We called back 2 weeks later to give them his SS #
