Insurance Question
So, I previously had insurance coverage that had unlimited lifetime IVF coverage. It seems that insurance companies are now cutting back on covage. So o I have 4 max lifetime coverage.
What does that mean? Is it all cycles? Fresh and Frozen?
Is it just fresh cycles?
Anyone know?

Re: Insurance Question
I would think it would be all cycles whether fresh or frozen but I'm sure someone will come along to help more.
Best idea is to call the insurance company and get someone competent to speak to.
Btw-can I come work for your firm?

Oh... Thank for your help!!! I am going to call them asap!
I see now that what I wrote is kind of confusing... I don't work for an insurance firm ahhaha lol... Thats just what the dr office said to me... they said that insurance companies are cutting back... but I am thinking our companies are cutting back on insurance... UGH.
Thanks again!

Re: Insurance Question
It's both fresh and frozen cycles. I get 3 lifetime IVF attemps, I've done 2 fresh cycles so that leaves me with one more cycle. Because of this, we decided that when we do a FET later this year, we will pay out of pocket in case I go through all my frozen embies and don't get pregnant, I will still have insurance coverage for a fresh cycle.

Sorry to disagree, but this may not be correct. My insurance covers a maximum of 4 retrievals. It doesn't limit my FETs. You need to call or have your RE's office call to clarify.
