Insurance - FDNY

If you are covered by insurance through FDNY or NYPD can you please let me know what insurance company provides your plan? And what are the fertility benefits?

Thanks!

We're covered through GHI.

Here's a link to their plan description:

Re: Insurance - FDNY

we have GHI through the NYPD. It covers 75% of my IVF total and then we are responsible for the other 25%. the meds are covered, injectables they may give you the run around, but PICA still covers them. Hope this helps.

I am a NYC teacher and DH is FDNY firefighter. We have the same but separate GHI coverage. I paid $5800 for IVF (that was 25%) and it only came out to $300 for all of my meds and supplies. We are only covered up to three times though. Good luck and I hope this info helps!Chat Icon
