i did mine when i was 36 weeks the fire deparment check or they can install it in nc

Yes, down here in NC I have found a ton of places that will check it for you.
I just did not know when we should put it in by.

I did it at around 34-35 weeks in case I went into labor early. I wanted to be ready. The last think I wanted was DH running to install it and get it inspected at the last minute trying to figure it out.

I had mine done in my 34th week, and the BRU in the next town over is having the safety people checking car seats.... Guess where I'll be?

I put mine in at 38 weeks. I'm still pregnant so I guess it didn't make a difference.

DH put ours in 5 minutes before we left for the hospital. I was 38 weeks, 6 days.
But my DH is FDNY and knows how to install them.

We put the one in DH's car on Saturday, I had a semi-emergency C-section on Tuesday. My car was done after the baby came home.
ETA: That Saturday was 38w6d.
