Installing a new bathroom vanity
How do you go about this?
Are they standard sizes-- or if it's more like a built in (i.e. b/t bathroom wall and shower wall), does it need to be customized for the space?

Re: Installing a new bathroom vanity
Most pre-made cabinets are sections that join together and there are 3" spacers that can be used to finish off a gap between an end and wall. ie: the sink section might be a double-door cabinet without a top drawer. You can get 12, 18 or 24" side sections with a combination of drawers and or cabinets. So if you had a 24" middle and an 18" on each side you've got 60" and if the space is 64" you could add a 2" spacer on each side. The spacers also help with leaving room for cabinet doors to open without being right up against an end wall.

thanks-- so it should be pretty easy to do. Then we do a custom sized countertop I assume. I think I want to put stone in anyway. The pic is the actual bathroom-- it's the pic from the listing.
Do you happen to know if I need to replace the sink as well if I am replacing the vanity? Also, will they take it out carefully as to not destroy the tile against the vanity? I am going to paint anyway.

You'll probably want to replace the sink as well, as I'm assuming you'd want an undermount sink for your granite/marble/quartz.
