INSANE deals last night at Lowe's
I went to Lowe's (the new one in Bethpage on 107) last night because DH was taking care of DS and it was not as busy.
I was about finished with buying the soil, plants, etc.. and a guy says all the baskets on this cart are $1. I don't have a place for baskets so I did not care too much.
I go to check out at the register and I hear the guy saying all those carts here are $1 too. I load my stuff in the car. Brings my cart and decide to "check it out". Annual flats for $1. 4" pot perennuals for $1. I went  I was BACK IN BUSINESS. I loaded my flat bed cart. I got 1 flat of annuals. I really don't use flowers but I thought I could do a nice pot by the entry door. Coral bells, salvia, etc... OMG!!!!! I got 39 plants for $39 and 1 flat of annuals for $1.
Apparently they had another shipment coming in and they needed the cart free to load.
So check it out at night. Apparently that's when they do it.
Oh and if you bought the whole cart (20+ flats), it was only $15.

WOW!! Sweet Deal! I won't be back out on Long Island til Friday (still in the process of moving) so i'm bummed that i'll miss out on it

WOW, I love lowes dh and I got some really sweet deals on a lot of things well building our home, we got three ceiling fans they were originally $199.00 on clearance for $50.00 so we got three for less than the original price for one, and we picked them in the beginning and dh told me to hold off we were not ready for fixtures, so glad I waited,

They were getting rid of them in the evening to make room for the next day.
So maybe 1st thing in the morning.

I am not sure of the frequency of those deals! I think it's because they had to make room for a shipment. I saw a huge 8 wheeler truck with one of the annuals brands on it. So I am assuming they had to get rid of inventory. But you can check it out. Never hurts!!!

Great deal! Congrats! That's so funny, I just bought coral bells and salvia last week. You don't use flowers but you miiiiight just get addicted, you never know. It happens to the best of us.

I just payed 3 flats for 36.99 at white post farms. oh well.
it was 48 plants in each flat though.

I went last night - there wasn't much left and most dried up - my son did pick out a plant though.
they must have had their shipment, b/c it was packed with crates there.
