Initial Bloodwork Question
I have to go in for initial bloodwork. My sister sent me the script and it's for Fasting glucose/insulin, HgAIC, TSH, FSH Estradiol and some other things that I can't read. On the back of the script it says Cycle Day 3. I talked to my sister and she said that only the FSH has to be done on day 3 and everything else can be done whenever. I was going to go this morning to get the bloodwork done because I don't want to bring my kids with me and DH is home. If I wait until Monday (Cycle Day 3) I would have to bring my kids with me. I figure I'll get all the tests but the FSH done today and then go in on Monday and just get the last one. I've tried calling the docs office and I keep having to leave messages and no one has called back yet. Does anyone know if getting the other tests done not on day 3 will effect it? TIA

Re: Initial Bloodwork Question
I had to have all those tests done on day 3. I don't think the results would be right if they aren't done that day. The only one that could be done any day is the fasting/insulin one I had that done on some random date. It's the hormone tests that have to be done on day 3.

if you are cd1 today its fine. most "cd3" panel can be done anywhere cd1-5. btw make sure you haven't eaten for a while before fasting glucose.

Initial Bloodwork Question
I think you should be fine. Usually they do CD 3 blood work between CD 2-5 as a PP said.
