Infertility and exercise?

I was wondering what your doctors have told you about this. My OBGNY says only to do low impact.
My RE says it doesnt matter. My accupunture dr says no working out in my 2ww.

Re: Infertility and exercise?

I was always told not to have your heart rate go over 100bpm while exercising in the 2ww. I am on low impact b/c of my retrieval and transfer. good luck

Re: Infertility and exercise?

My doctor said nothing where your heart rate is sustained over 140 bpm for more than 20 minutes. I asked him about 30 min on the elliptical and power yoga, and he said both were fine.

The 2WW after an IVF transfer has its own separate set of rules for lifestyle.

my acupuncture dr tells me to only walk. Then I asked my RE today and he is like it doesn't matter. I try to only walk during 2ww but, with all the meds and stuff I feel so gross I hate not being able to do anything.

Re: Infertility and exercise?

My RE had me drastically reduce my exercise. 4 days a week/30 mintues a day of low impact exercise. During the 2WW 3 days a week/30 minutes of low impact. No heavy lifting- only light weights.
