infants wearing hats indoors?
So at the hospital they had all the babies in hats. We keep hat on DS at all times, just cause its what they did at the hospital.
But he's 4 weeks now, and wondering if it makes sense to wean him off newborn hat. Like when he's just home napping? Or do they really need the hat to help maintain body temp?
What did you do?

I was really bad with the hat thing- particularly because DD has/had a big head and outgrew them really fast. I think if your home is a nice comfy temperature they are not an absolute must at least in my opinion past a couple of weeks, but my DD#1 was born in July.

No hat for DD-5 1/2 weeks old-but we live in S. Florida and it is hot!

I never heard that before. My son was born in January and they put a hat on him right when he was born, but a couple hours later it was off and we never saw it again. I've never put a hat on him indoors.
