Infant to Toddler Rocker
DD is 7 months and now that she cant sit up, the bouncy seat isn't safe for her anymore because she tries to get out of it. Do you think the infant to toddler rocker would be a good switch? I know its good for toddlers up to 40lbs, but I just dont want her to be able to wiggle out of it since she is in the inbetween stage right now. Thoughts?

We have it for DD and love it. She gets strapped in, so she really can't wriggle out of it. It's pretty cool.

I had a Fisher Price one for DS (similar to the one posted above). DS was out of it by the time he was 8 or 9 months. Even though I could strap him, he was too strong and wiggled around so much that I was afraid he was going to somehow hurt himself and flip over.

I had to stop using mine before 10 months old because, even when strapped in around the waist, he would propel himself forward to the floor, and then wiggle his legs up and out of the straps! He could literally get out of it.

yes, this is what I am afraid of. I feel like its good for infants up until they can sit on their own, and then you can use it again once they are a lil older.. I'm afraid I will buy it and she will def try to get out of it. She tries to get out of the RNP if I put her in it. I just wanted something for her to sit in at times but I am thinking I may not get it right now. Maybe wait until she is a lil older.

They have a bar that flips out on the bottom to stable it... My son was a big boy and he never flipped out of it. And he tried... keep the straps snug and it should be fine. He is now 3 and loves it as a rocker...

I saw one at a garage sale, and sat DS in it... he screamed and screamed lol He has a real rocking chair now that he likes much better!
