Infant portraits

How old were your babies when their first portaits were taken? Did you wait for them to smile? How did you handle the feedings if you're nursing? I just imagine my little 5 week old screaming while we wait our turn, and if I feed him right before, falling into a deep sleep.

Re: Infant portraits

I had a jerk come to my house at about 6 weeks to photograph him. Later I went to Kiddie Kandids (about 2-3 mos). I fed him before we left.

Re: Infant portraits

Gianna is going to have her 1st prof portraits done next week. She will be 2.5 months old. I am nursing, so I will try to feed her before we go, and bring a bottle just in case.

Peyton's 5 months and I haven't even done it yet. I am hoping to do it in the next few weeks. Poor second child syndrome.
