Inexpensive spices??

I need to add a few things to my spice rack, but don't want to spend a forturne if I don't end up using them much. Where can I get cheap spices?

(I tried the $1 store already and all of their powder spices were hard as rocks!)

Badia spices are cheaper than the rest. They are in the regular grocery store - but for some reason are usually in a separate aisle (by the spanish food).

Spice classics are ok although they have a limited selection--they are usually next to the regular spices in my grocery store...

I would try either an Indian or a Chinese supermarket, the spices come in larger packs and are much cheaper than the supermarket. You can get your own jars and store them that way.

Yes, Badia, in the "ethnic foods" aisle. The $1 store ones are probabbly 800 years old!

I get inexpensive spices at Meat Farms, they have a brand that is like $1.19 each.

(Don't know where you live, but they have locations in Commack, Hauppauge, Farmingdale, Lake Ronkonkoma, Medford, Port Jefferson)
