Impact 3d Sonos... questions!

DH and I are thinking about doing the 3d sonograms at impact. We will probably do the gold (I think) package, which with the coupon online would run about $150. Can anyone who has done this fill me in on their experience and whether or not you felt it was worth it? Also, with the viewing room, how many people can go? Has anyone done it where you can watch online as well? What days/hours are they open? Any other info is appreciated as well! :)

Re: Impact 3d Sonos... questions!

Hi, I did this and it was a disappointment only b/c my baby didn't cooperate so he had his hand in front of his face the whole time and we couldn't see much.
Be prepared - this is not a nice looking office - you almost don't believe you're at the right place when you arrived, but they were nice and we got what we paid for.
We had 5 or 6 people in the viewing room - they have the sonogram machine hooked to a big screen TV.
We also did the Gold package and although we weren't impressed with the pics we got - it is kind of cool to always have that DVD of baby moving around inside.
Pics are in my sono album - the ones labeled 32wks.
Enjoy!

Re: Impact 3d Sonos... questions!

I just did the gold this past weekend and loved it

With tax, etc and the coupon, it came to 165 for the gold package.

I got a comfy bed and all the parents sat on couches and the sono was put up on a movie screen so everyone could see. My baby kept flipping but we were able to get him to cooperate and I got good pics. We got an 8 minute video, 6 3D pics printed out, and about 15 black and white 2D pics, plus a CD with about 20 3D pics. Both our families oved it
Here are 2 of my pics - I was in my 25th week

How many people can you bring with you? We would obviously ask both sets of parents.... I would love to ask siblings too if there is enough room...

Re: Impact 3d Sonos... questions!

They told me we could bring 7 people
The room had 2 big couches and 3 chairs.
I was on the bed and DH sat in a chair next to me. There was a 3 seat couch, 2 chairs, then a 2 seat loveseat

Re: Impact 3d Sonos... questions!

I went there at 28 weeks. I got the Gold package too and with the coupon and tax it was $163 I think. TOTALLY WORTH IT!!!
Some of the pics are in my pregnancy album and the first 5 minutes of the dvd is in my profile. The total dvd was over 15 minutes long.
I brought DH, my mom, my MIL and aunt with me. Like another poster said, the project it onto a big viewing screen for everyone to see. I had to lay on my side so I watched the actual monitor. I drank a cup of juice 1/2 hour before and the baby was moving like crazy!

ETA: I don't know their days/hours, but I went on a Sunday at 11 am. There was no wait at all. I made the appointment about 2 weeks in advance. HTH! Fm me if you have any other questions!

Re: Impact 3d Sonos... questions!

I went there at 27/28 weeks and we got some great pics. We went on a sat morning (I made the appt about 3 days earlier). The bldg and office leave a lot to be desired, but the sono itself was great. We decided to get this sono b/c DD wouldn't cooperate on previous sonos and we really wanted to know the gender. I liked that you lay down on a bed as opposed to the table you lay on in the doctor's office. We got the gold package as well.

Re: Impact 3d Sonos... questions!

Is the bed you lay on in the room with everyone else?

Has anyone experienced watching it online?

I am definetly thinking we might do this! I wish I could do it sooner than 24 weeks!!!

The bed is in the same room.

Never experienced the online portion, we didn't get taht package.

I would wait until 28-32 weeks or do the two sono package. They look much cuter at 28-32 weeks because their face has filled in a bit. Before that they are very boney.
