imessage setting on iphone
Should this setting be off or on? It seems when its on some of my texts are not going through. Any idea why? Should I keep it off ir on?

imessage setting on iphone
iMessage is used for iPhone to iPhone text messages. I think if it's on any texts sent from iPhone to iPhone isn't charged against your monthly text messaging plan. But I always thought that if a text couldn't be sent using iMessage, it was sent as a regular text message (for instance, if the other iPhone user's phone is off)? I didn't think it affected whether texts actually went through. Sorry, I'm not sure that was much help.

This is correct!! I've been having connectivity issues with AT&T so turned off iMessage for now-but usually this is how it works.

This is correct!! I've been having connectivity issues with AT&T so turned off iMessage for now-but usually this is how it works.
Same here with my boyfriend. He turned his iMessage off because of service issues/messages not going through.
I think once everything is back up and running you should be fine.
