I'm sure this has been asked before but --- Flutters to Kicks?
So when did you girls stop feeling flutters and start feeling real kicks? Is there a huge difference? I started feeling flutters at 14 weeks and they have gotten stronger and more often but I still cant say that they feel like kicking.
What are your experiences?

I wish I had kept better track of it. I will tell you that the flutters were cool enough. And then I *thought* I was getting severe kicks...well I'll tell you they get much stronger as the baby gets bigger (duh, I know but I never actually thought of it....) Now at 32 weeks it feels like the nugget is trying to break through my belly button. Sometimes the kicks are so strong they knock the wind out of me.
So I guess that did not really answer your question.... I'd say about 24 weeks they felt more like kicks, and at about 26 weeks I was getting my a$$ kicked

I never felt flutters, just kicks starting around 19 weeks.

totally agree... 24 wks was when i felt all the strong kicks 26 a$$ kicked and 30+ like its trying to rip its way out

Its funny b/c last night nugget was determined to peek at the world through my belly button. I was whining about it & DH said...yeah but you'll miss it when its over. I cried. Ba$tard
He's right though...it'll be so weird not to feel the baby moving constantly!

1st flutter was at 16 wks (once or twice)
Then it pretty much switched to kicks only at 20 wks... non stop since then. Now at 30 wks, he is still going at it!

i felt flutter around 15 weeks and then around 20 i felt kicks

Thanks girls! I cant wait for that first real kick.
It is the coolest feeling. The best is when the baby turns & you can feel all the little hands & feet swimming across your belly! I still giggle when that happens!
