well....I stopped bf'in at 16 months.
I got AF just over a year after having DD.
DD is now just under 18 mths and I still have milk.

Chelle - do you know you have it b/c you feel it come in, or you have to pump due to engorgement? If you don't mind me asking...

For the first few days (or week or so) I would just express in the shower...NEVER enough to get a let down....that would trigger the boob toi *think* it's still being used, KWIM.
I had no more let downs that I could feel. I never got engorged.
I can only get a little milk if I attempt to express it myself. It's not "in the plenty" anymore
