I'm so hungry! (WW)

LOL! I am on my second week of WW and some days I feel SO hungry. Other days I'm OK and I'm down about 5 lbs. which is great but I am wondering if most people on WW feel hungry. I guess I need to make better food choice, more filling somehow. What are your favorite filling low point foods?

Hi, I am getting ready for the weight watcher boat!!! I need to get the weight off. Are you going to meeting or online. I am trying to figure out which one will work for me. Sorri I didn't answer your question but i will be checking on this thread often. I NEED TO GET THIE WEIGHT OFF!!!!

It really is a great program because you can eat whatever you want, just portion control. Really showed me how much I was overeating. I have joined before, so right now I'm just doing it at home, but weighing in & meetings are good motivators.

I'm not usually hungry-I drink a lot of water an try to get a good amount of protein and fiber in. I think more filling foods will definitely help!

I have had days where I feel SO hungry also. The key is to try to make the most of your points.

At lumch for example I usually eat a sanwich (bagel thin-1pt, turkey-1 pt). Then I will have some bean salad (I just mix chickpeas, red kidney, white cannelini, onion). I find this fills me much more then just lettuce and dressing.

Vitatops - 1pt are also full of fiber and filling.

Add veggies to make a meal more filling.

Thanks! I'll have to try the Vitatops. Also I've been eating the bagel thins too but have been counting them as 1 pt. because it lands on the line when I figure it on the scale. Is that right?

I got home from the gym today and was starving so I made an omelette with two eggs and one white, some feta--eggs fill you up also Chat Icon

I was always hungry on WW! I found eating more protein and whole grain carbs helped me feel less hungry. Good luck!

Protein and fiber fill me up!

Try Fiber one bars (they have ones that are one or two points), WW Oatmeal, Carrots with hummus (costco sells small packages in bulk for only2 pts each!), oranges always fill me up

I have the bagelthins as well and make eggbeaters and put them on it which is basically a 2 point breakfast...

Lunch I make a salad sometimes and put grilled chicken into it "Or" a Turkey sandwich and some kind of fruit..

Dinner- I'll make a Nice Chicken Dinner with vegetables or dh will BBQ.

Im on WW and Im almost never hungry. I use the "best for the buck" matto. Try to stay away from empty calories/simple carbs that will make you hungry later and soak up a lot of points.

I use tons of lettuce (any type) and veggies to add bulk to my meal. I mix veggies w/brown rice and its only 3 pts and its a huge amount.

Hope you find some good ideas here...

Ahh, OK, I'll have to look for them. I've been getting the Thomas's brand.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. SO annoying because I HATE eggs and I know they are a good low point food. I have to eat more protein!

I am usually never hungry. I try to eat high fiber high protein.

I started eating high fiber instant oatmeal and I'll add 1 tbs of peanut butter. It fills me up for a while. Then for lunch I try to eat soup 9another very filling meal), snack on wasa crackers or fresh fruits and veggies.

At this point I'm not hungry but the first few weeks is a big adjustment period and you might have days where you are hungry. Don't forget your body is adjusting to everything. Some tips I have are:

water
milk (fat free of course!)
fruit
Fiber One bars
veggies (carrots, cucumber, celery are easy to snack on)
popcorn

Snacking on these things during the day will help you feel fuller and they are all 0-2 points.

Don't wait too long between meals to eat. And make sure you are eating lots of protein.
