I would honestly check with your doc to see what they say, but I was just sick and my doc said I could take regular sudafed or Robitussin DM. Although, when my husband went to get the sudafed from the pharmacy, the pharmacist said the medical community is divided on whether it is safe or not and she wasn't really keen on it. I ended up with the children's dose (which is half the regular one). It helped, but only for like an hour or so.

I just got over being sick, I'm not allowed to take any Sudafed or anything like that for colds (not pregnancy related) so I'm used to medicating without OTC's. I swear by White Tea and Honey, my doc said it's ok to have when you're sick being it has caffeine but obviously don't go overboard. Also was told to go with just plain old Vitamin C, 1000mg day. And if it has anything to do with your throat (soar/scratchy) to get chewable and let it dissolve in your mouth. I'm no doctor but this is what I was told to do by my doc, obviously to each their own, I'd call your doc!
