I'm sick
I just went to my PCP b/c I thought I have been having allergy problems all week and that it was turning into an infection. My PCP tells me I have a low fever and to call my OB/GYN asap b/c fevers can cause miscarriages
So I have been sitting around for over an hour waiting to hear something

Don't worry. I pray it wouldn't be anything bad!!! I'm sure DD/DS is fine.

I wasn't too concerned until my PCP went on and on how bad it was I had a fever and that it was more serious than having any infection.
I still haven't heard from the dr's office they told me I should speak with him and that he would call but I think they closed at 5

Why don't you take Tylenol to reduce the fever? I've been treated for strep the past week and I took Tylenol for (as well as amoxicillan).....

I ended up taking some but of course they were like hold off until you speak with the doctor who will call

I just had the same thing. I pushed off anything for days and then my dr said it was worse if I was that sick than to take antibiotics so they put me on Zithromax and it knocked it right out of me. Don't worry, you have options your Dr. will take care of you. Just know things take 3x the amount of time to beat when preggo. Today is 2 weeks and I am STILL blowing my darn nose

I hope you feel better!
I have had a nasty cough all week long that has turned into an awful cold - all congested and whatnot. Now I'm all paranoid that I have a fever and we don't have a freakin thermometer!  I would know if I had a fever, right? (I really don't feel like I have one ... but this cold is kicking my butt!  )

Well my dr never called so I have no medications since my PCP told me I had to wait for my OB/GYN to give me something when I spoke with him. My fever is down today so I am just going to sleep and rest and wait it out. My concern was that I would get an infection over the weekend - but my PCP just said well you might but nothing you can do now DH has a humidifier set up and is taking good care of me bringing me hot lemonade and made me pancakes for breakfast.

Actually you should get a thermometer b.c I didn't think I had a fever either and was surprised when he said I did. My PCP (and I read this) said that during pregnancy your mucus membranes swell and can make this all worse.
