I'm short for rent this month....
we're planning a surprise party for my Mom and I had to leave a deposit, and I'm not sure exactly how I missed managed it, but I'm short on my rent for this month....I think I'm having my first official panic attack...
I'm going to have to borrow money from my parents...and they will again think that I am unable to take care of myself..

do you have over draw on your account?
i have overdraw on my citibank checking of $5,000 so if i write a check it will not bounce and its like an ongoing credit card so it automatically puts the funds in and then i pay them back, if i dont pay them within a month a pay a little interest but its good to have...

Does your landlord or management company have a grace period? When we rented we had a 10 day grace period before they charged a late fee. Call your landlord and talk to them... Sometimes they will work with you if you have a good record.

I have this also- it's a life saver- especially b/c of the way my husband gets paid- we sometimes have cash flow problems- and instead of him getting an advance or taking from savings- we let it go into the checking plus and pay it back when he gets paid
and I love it b/c I never keep money in checking- I tend to spend it if I know it's there- so if I buy something- I can't transfer the money and not use a credit card
you can get any amount you want- from $500 and up

I do have overdraft, but I hate dipping into it...I called my Mom and asked her...and she said no problem on the money, but I also got the lecture....ahhh, I just don't want her to think that I'm incapable of taking care of myself....
