I'm Shaking-Car all over Road-almost hits me!!!
I was driving home for lunch and I saw this Jetta weaving and coming towards me. They moved back into their lane and when I looked in my rearview mirror, I saw them slam into a pole and drive off. I pulled over to call 911 and there was a Suffolk County Crime Van right behind me. I waved them over and told them what just happened. I am shaking so much because it was so scary. I don't know if they were drunk or if they lost control of the car but I would not think you would continue driving if you hit a pole and sober!!
Lisa in Holbrook-this was on Furrows Road heading towards Lincoln Ave. today!!!!

scary!! glad you are ok!
this almost exact thing happened to my friend on friday night. she was driving home. a car was coming the other direction (towards her) and she could see they were driving waaay too fast and crazy, so she pulled off the road- WELL, they ended up coming across the road and side swiping her whole car! and she was pulled off the road, too!!! if she hadn't have pulled over, it would have been a head on collision!!
of course, the person didnt' stick around, so it was a hit and run. she went back the next day and saw that the other car lost a mirror and a hubcap, so shes trying to track the guy down... scary stuff!!

It is very scary. What is wrong with people?? I would NEVER get into a car and decide to drive after I was drinking. If you hit something and don't even know, how MUCH did you drink??!!

You should see what they do down my block. We have already called the cops on our neighbors and they think they are so cool now to rev their engines in front of our house. They are only ruining their engines and tires but they don't get it!!
