So I am two weeks late today. I took a preg test on the 16th and it was positive...took a few more all positive. Had 4 betas done...they were low but doubled every two days. But today I have AF cramps and red blood (the start of AF). I dont get it. This is my second MC in 2 months. I am so depressed right now Why would the numbers double and then this happens. Sorry just had to vent

Have you talked to your OB?
My DC's godmother had a similar experience 3 weeks ago, she started bleeding-red blood , not brown or light pink, she was cramping, she was sure she was MC , called me crying, went to her OB and they said she wasn't mc , she had some kind of infection and they put her on strong antibiotics. They did put her on bed rest for few days , bleeding stopped and she is still pregnant .

thank you for your response. I have not called them yet but this same thing happened 2 months ago...ended up being a chemical pregnancy. But here is the crazzy thing. I am a special ed teacher. I have a student I have been with for 5 years. This year we get our periods on the same exact day (no lie) each month. So I was nervous that she hadnt gotten hers yet...she (and I) were two weeks late. Today she gets her period. I have AF cramps all morning and I go to the bathroom before and there is red blood that is in a pad now. This is crazy to me....right?

I would call the ob. There are many reasons you could be bleeding not just an mc. Best of luck

My beta was only 70 on 15dpo, I bled bright red and had cramps- I am currently 22 weeks with a healthy
I would call your doctor ASAP. Miscarriage isn't the only possible explanation!

Thank you so much everyone. I had another beta today. I will wait till tomorrow to talk to dr when I call for results. What are some reasons for bleeding red??

Could be a sub chorionic hematoma, cervical irritation, an infection. I actually had a few clots, too. I forgot to include that before.
