I would be to, but somehow I doubt they will do something again with planes, or at least not on the same day 7 years later, it would be to obvious

Try not to be, I always tend to think 9-11 is now one of the safest days to fly.

I would be the same way. I told DH after this happened I do not want him working in the city on this day ever. And since then he hasn't. I just can't handle it.

Your feelings are understandable. But look at it this way... today is probably the SAFEST day to fly.

I would be nervous too but in reality I'm sure it's actually safer to fly today as they have probably beefed up security.

I have actually flown on 9/11 a few times- even home from my honeymoon in 2004. Honestly, today is probably the safest day to fly. Everyone's alerts on high.
I'm sure your DH will be fine.
